Sophie Kesteven is a multimedia journalist experienced in online, video, audio and photography.

She is currently working as a Digital Producer for the ABC in Sydney, and she has experience in producing online feature articles, radio packages and videos for both local and national audiences.

In addition, she has also worked as a Cross Media Reporter and a radio producer at the ABC in Canberra, Mackay and Townsville.

During her degree, Sophie was able to start an internship at ABC North Queensland where she worked collaboratively with news and radio programs.

After she graduated, Sophie began her career as a news reporter at the Northern Miner newspaper in Charters Towers where she developed an in-depth understanding of police, court, and local government reporting.

The 29-year-old creative content maker is excited to take on challenges and explore the many opportunities within the industry.
